Use a Pneumatic Forklift
You could normally find pneumatic forklifts in shipping and warehouse operations. Also called pallet trucks or pump trucks, they are used to move products and materials around on wooden pallets using metal forks which are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight includes a pump that can raise the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by a single person.
Pallet trucks must be operated with care to avoid loss of control while raising heavy loads. Machine should be inspected prior to operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Make certain that the handle could smoothly turn. The pallet should be stacked carefully to ensure that nothing would fall off during transportation.
On the end of the pallet truck's handle, squeeze the level found on the inside of the metal loop to be able to release the air in the pump and lower the forks. The forks could then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks should be at the center to ensure even distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has fully cleared the ground. Do not raise the pallet too high or the forklift can unbalance.
Pull on the handle and then drag it behind you if you want to move the pallet. It is dangerous to push the pallet in front of you because the thrust can cause it to go out of control. Take turns slowly and don't attempt to stop suddenly. Gradually come to a stop, squeeze the lever, and the forks would lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent location.
