Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since the year 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system offers much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer a huge variety of optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you accomplish all your requirements, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. If precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain lift trucks as functional as possible, many attachments have been designed and made like winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to place materials more accurately. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures so as to position loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being made and engineered all the time and would debut in the future.
Lots of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. Like for example, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory will compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is an essential lock-up device or a warning system which prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
